2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect:Account information: name and/or display name, email, login method (Apple Sign In or email).Subscription status: purchase and renewal status from Apple (we do not receive your full payment card details).Preferences and inputs: routine preferences, saved products, notes you enter, and other content you submit.Community content: posts, comments, reactions, and any text you choose to share.2.2 Facial Images and Skin Scan DataIf you use skin check-ins, you may upload facial images. To provide cosmetic analysis, SKYNN may transmit uploaded images to trusted third-party AI providers for processing. We require these providers to process data only to return results to SKYNN and not for their own purposes.5.2 Other Service ProvidersWe may share information with vendors that provide:cloud hosting and infrastructurecustomer support toolssecurity monitoring and fraud preventionanalytics limited to app performance and reliabilitysubscription verification (Apple ecosystem)We do not authorize service providers to sell your information.5.3 No Sale of Personal InformationWe do not sell your personal information.
We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is used under California law.
If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out mechanisms.6) Community and User-Generated Content (UGC)
6.1 Public Nature of Community Content
The community is a user-driven feature. Anything you post may be visible to other users. Do not post sensitive personal information (for example: medical diagnoses, addresses, phone numbers, financial details).6.2 No Professional AdviceCommunity content is not verified for accuracy and does not represent SKYNN’s views. You agree that:You will not treat community content as medical, dermatological, legal, or professional advice.Any reliance on community content is at your own risk.6.3 No Duty to Monitor; Moderation DiscretionWe may (but are not required to) review, remove, restrict, or disable access to community content at any time for any reason, including to enforce our rules or comply with law. We have no obligation to monitor or pre-screen content, and we do not guarantee removal of any specific content.6.4 User Responsibility and Liability AllocationUsers are solely responsible for the content they submit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKYNN is not liable for user-generated content or for harm arising from community interactions.(US users: this aligns with common platform liability protections for third-party content.)6.5 Reporting and NoticeWe may provide in-app mechanisms to report content. If you believe content violates law or our rules, report it. We may act on reports at our discretion.(For EU users, a reporting/notice mechanism also supports DSA-style expectations for illegal content handling where applicable.)7) Cosmetic-Only Service DisclaimerSKYNN provides cosmetic and educational information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice. If you have a skin condition or medical concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional.8) SecurityWe use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information (for example, encryption in transit and access controls). Do not post sensitive personal information.5.3 No EndorsementSKYNN does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of User Content. Views expressed by users do not reflect SKYNN’s views.5.4 No Duty to MonitorWe are not obligated to monitor, pre-screen, or remove User Content. Intellectual PropertyAll SKYNN software, design, branding, logos, text, and functionality (excluding User Content) are owned by SKYNN and protected by intellectual property laws.You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Service without permission.10. TerminationWe may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.You may stop using the Service at any time.11. Limitation of LiabilityTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:SKYNN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING:PERSONAL INJURYDATA LOSSLOST PROFITSRELIANCE ON CONTENT OR AI OUTPUTSUSER INTERACTIONS OR COMMUNITY CONTENTIN NO EVENT SHALL SKYNN’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SKYNN IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.13. IndemnificationYou agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SKYNN from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:Your use of the ServiceYour User ContentYour violation of these TermsYour violation of any law or third-party rights14.
